100K for F9CKA....? Dream on, mate.

Hmmm......I just typed FOCKA in to Regfinder.net and it came back with 10 DVLA available plates with prices ranging from £245 to £490.
He might get lucky I suppose.

Invest in a Number Plate

I keep telling people that buying the right personal number plate is a brilliant long term investment but mostly this advise seems to fall on deaf ears.
(I think that they think I'm obsessed......! Hmmm.... don't know what that's all about.)
Anyway, don't take my word for it.
Read THIS ARTICLE and you'll see what I'm banging on about.
(Oh, and should you notice that the word "competitive" is in inverted commas, try not to be to cynical.....)

"Number is up for car plates, say police!!!"

Jesus..... I read that headline and thought for a minute we'd done two years work for nothing...
But it ain't so bad....
In fact, I think this is quite a good idea ( Click Here! To read the article.)
I used to worry that the DVLA would eventually do away with the alpha-numerical system for number plates in favour of a chip or a bar code but that was before we got REALLY involved in Regfinder.net.
Now I know the DVLA make a mean average of £250,000 a day, 7 days a week (excluding auction stuff), I very much doubt they'll be in a hurry to change things....... Would you?

Illegal Number Plate Flags

Labour hasn't legalised flags on number plates... seven years after saying it would..........
(Click Here! For the full story)
And I don't understand why.
They always seem to be trying to rinse a few more quid out of 'Joe' and this seems to me like a good way to do it.
A lot of people would love a personalised plate but might not have the funds at the moment (credit crunch and all that).
So the next best thing is to personalise the plate back ground, right?
Well all those new plates would have to come from somewhere so the companies that make them would have to be making more money, ergo, they'd be paying more tax, either personal or corporation.
And who knows, they might start doing well enough to take a few people off the dole queue! (AKA - the civil service).
Just a thought.

Reg

(Oh yeah. The shameless plug bit. You really should look at Regfinder.net. You'd be amazed at what you can have for £245)
